The Story
The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation UHD 4K Live Production Switcher now include UHD 4K capabilities along with 12G-SDI ports, to the familiar switcher construction of the predecessor. This switcher provides you with powerfull UHD 4K live event switching with 10 individual 12G-SDI inputs with support for 12G/3G/HD-SDI signals, these signals are then delivered to six 12G-SDI outputs or webcam USB-C outputs. Further, the switcher has a multiview output with up to 16 routable windows that can display inputs, keyed video, graphics, and stills from the media pool, as well as the program output. Each input is connected to a Fairlight built-in audio mixer providing support for up to 28 channels of audio.
The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation UHD 4K Live Production Switcher include a reference video input, and each input features a frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter. The reference video input allows you to use different cameras, formats that do not feature genlock, and input from computer sources. Upstream and downstream keyers and effects are supported. No rendering is required for this action and all done in real time.
