The Gitzo GH1382TQD Series 1 Aluminium Center Ball Head Traveller Quick Release D is the most compact, slimmest, and balanced precision ball head in its range, to provide the ultimate smoothness and precision of movement and secure locking.
The ball head features special coating contributing to its amazing smooth ball movements; 360 Independent panning lock; weighs only 390 grams, yet it can safely hold a 11 kg load capacity; and with a height of 10.4 cm its compact enough to fit between the folded legs of Series 0 and 1 Traveller tripod; and works perfectly well with all Gitzos D profile plates. Additionally, the quick-release plate is kept locked with a screw-knob and a bubble level to help photographers keep a straight horizon when capturing images, and the ball head fits most Arca-Swiss style plates from different brands.
