The Manfrotto 500X Fluid Head is designed specifically to meet the demands of the modern content creator by bridging the gap between still and video content creation technology to create an all-in-one solution.
The main highlight feature of the Manfrotto 500X Fluid Head is the ability to seamlessly switch between landscape and horizontal shooting orientations without the need to remove the camera from the head. A healthy maximum load capacity of up to 5kg allows for a wide variety of cameras and rigs to be compatible with this head.
Featuring a Fluid Drag System (FDS) for both pan and tilt movements that will help generate smooth, professional-looking video. A counterbalance system also allows for more control over the camera system.
The XCHANGE System allows for the Manfrotto 500X Fluid Head to be mounted and unmounted in one easy step, simply by twisting the slider on the tripod sharing the XCHANGE System. Any other tripod can also accommodate this head that supports its 60mm flat base with a 3/8"-16 thread.
