The Roland V-600UHD 4K HDR Multi-Format Video Switcher is an advanced and professional multi-format video switcher that lets you transition to 4K workflows with ease. Upgrading your events to 4K couldn't be any easier all thanks to Roland's Ultra Scaler technology built-in, and scaling can be done on every input - allowing you to use Full HD and 4K sources simultaneously, and output at multiple resolutions.
With the advanced tech incorporated into this impressive Roland V-600UHD, you can easily upgrade to 4K which enhances the image quality in your productions. Professional features include High Dynamic Range (HDR) - allowing your image to display far better with a more dynamic-looking pixels that preserve the details in the darkest and brightest areas of an image; a full 60Hz frame rate to deliver smooth, crisp video image without the blur that's common when fast motion is displayed at 30Hz refresh rates; Rec.2020 is supported - providing the highest-specification Wide Colour Gamut (WCG), as well as RGB and Rec.709 standards to display the widest range of visible colours for enhanced colour accuracy; and an Internal 10-bit 4:4:4 colour depth processing that minimises colour banding and helps sharpens high-detail sources from computers.
This V-600UHD Multi-Format Video Switcher allows you to switch and display content at the originally intended aspect ratio, without cropping or letterboxing. No need to have multiple 4K cameras to capture all the action, as the Roland V-600UHD has you covered with the built-in Region of Interest (ROI). This useful feature allows you to point a single 4K camera at the stage and use the V-600UHD's input sharing and scaling functions to crop out up to eight camera shots that you can assign to the video switchers cross points. It also supports two Picture-in-Picture windows (PnP) that offers so much more than simple fixed inset windows. Easily get creative with composition, by combining flexible PnP with the ultra-wide pixel count of DCI 4K to create engaging and impressive screen sets.
Flexible 24-bit 48kHz audio processing incorporated helps to prevent problems before they occur. This will then allow you to de-embed audio from the currently selected source and send to an external sound mixer using Audio Follows Video, or program audio returning from the same device can also be embedded in one or all video outputs and then sent to the web, a recorder or an overflow room.
