The Story

The SanDisk Professional 48TB G-RAID PROJECT 2 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array (2 x 24TB) is designed for 4K, 8K, and VR video workflows, this is a professional 2-bay enterprise-class storage system.

With a total overall capacity of 48TB made up of 2 x 24TB 7200 rpm Ultrastar Enterprise-class hard drives. This drive delivers up to 510 MB/s read speeds, and 480 MB/s write speeds. With a hardware controller, the G-RAID PROJECT comes preconfigured as RAID 0. If you do not need RAID 0, RAID 1 and JBOD are also supported. 

The SanDisk Professional 48TB G-RAID PROJECT 2 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array (2 x 24TB) includes two 40Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of these is used for host connectivity while the other is available for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices. On the front of the PROJECT 2 you will find a SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE SSD Mag slot to expand possibilities. It comes preformatted for macOS 11 or later and iPadOS 14 or later, but it can also be used with Windows 10 and 11 via a simple reformat.
