This formfitting camera cage still maintains full access to all camera ports and controls as well as the battery slot and touchscreen. The camera secures onto the cage using a 1/4"-20 camera screw in addition to the two M2.5 crews on the sides you will find a rubber pad at the bottom of the cage to prevent twisting and damage to the camera body.
The SmallRig Camera Cage for Nikon Z8 with MB-N12 Battery Grip features a one-shoe mount on top and one on the side, a side NATO rail, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage incorporates ARRI-style locating holes for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted. For even more mounting options, you will find QD mounts and strap slots. Further, the cage features built-in Arce-type quick-release plates on the side and at the bottom for effortless mounting to compatible tripods without the need for a camera baseplate. The bottom also features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads to connect a camera plate for tripod mounting.
