The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a9 III is a formfitting camera cage designed for the Sony Alpha a9 III Mirrorless Digital Camera Body. While providing additional protection the the camera, you will also find multiple points for additional accessory mounting.
With the cage attached, you will still have access to all camera controls and ports. The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a9 III features multiple 1/4"-20 threads and ARRI-style 3/8"-16 anti-twist mounts for attaching accessories. At the bottom, you will also find multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mounting threads for easy attachment of mounting plates or attachment to a compatible support.
Your Sony A9 III Camera mounts to the SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a9 III via a 1/4"-20 screw and a side lock. To prevent damage to the camera body and prevent twisting of the camera in the cage, you will find rubber padding in the base. You will also find an integrated strap slot on the side to attach a camera strap of your choice. On the base, you will also find a screwdriver, along with a QD (Quick Detach) port.
