The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony FX2 is designed to add additional protection and mounting points for additional accessories. On top of the cage, you will find a detachable top plate with NATO rail to attach the Sony XLR handle, or any other top handle, without affecting the EVF.
The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony FX2 features a number of additional mounting points. These include another NATO rail, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/6"-16 threads, a cold shoe mount, and a QD socket to accommodate a wide variety of accessories.
The bottom of the SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony FX2 features a built-in Arca-Type quick-release plate, allowing for efficient transitions between handheld and tripod-mounted orientations. You will also find an included HDMI cable clamp to assist in preventing HDMI cabling connected to the camera from detaching during use or getting damaged.
