It is easy to switch the centre column located in the tripod top casting to vertical, horizontal, or angled orientation. The centre column can also be removed and reversed for low-angle shots.
With the SmallRig CT200 Lateral Center Column Aluminum Tripod with Monopods four section legs having flip locks, it is easy to adjust the height in seconds. When shooting fast-paced scenarios like sports or wildlife, one of the legs can be removed and then with the head attached, you have a monopod.
