The Story
The SmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 / Ronin-S / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro Gimbals enables you to mount larger cameras to your compatible stabiliser. This plate is 4cm (1.6") longer than the original plate, to accommodate larger cameras and allows additional leverage for larger cameras. It also allows for mounting of other components, such as a rod mount for a follow-focus motor, zoom motor, or lens support.
At the bottom rear of the SmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 / Ronin-S / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro Gimbals, you will find a 1/4"-20 thread to add a counterweight. To expand your mounting options, you will find both a 3/8"-16 and a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw. You will find measurement markings on the side of the plate for perfect balancing and positioning of the camera on the plate.
Rubber padding on the base of the plate assists in additional protection of the camera body and prevents twisting when mounted.
