The Story
The SmallRig Full Camera Cage Kit for Sony a6700 is designed to provide maximum protection to your camera body and will also add additional mounting options including an HDMI cable clamp. All the above while still leaving full access to all camera ports and buttons. The camera body attaches to the cage via 1/4"-20 and M2.5 screws. Around the cage, you will find multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI anti-twist threads this allows you to mount accessories like articulating arms or the included HDMI cable clamp onto the cage.
The HDMI cable clamp included with the SmallRig Full Camera Cage Kit for Sony a6700 attaches to the left side of the cage with a integrated thumbscrew and works to protect the HDMI port connection. On the top left side, you will find one cold shoe for connecting a secondary monitor or LED fill light. You can attach a compatible side handle with the NATO rail, and use the QD socket a the bottom for attachment of shoulder straps. A built-in Arca-type plate efficiently transitions your camera from handheld to gimbal-mounted shooting with compatible DJI RS series gimbals.
