The Story
The SmallRig Half Camera Cage for OM SYSTEM OM-1 is a formfitting half cage designed to be used with the SYSTEM OM-1, Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, or Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III camera. This cage mounts to the body with a single 1/4"-20 and silicone padding at the bottom to prevent damage to the camera body as well as prevent twisting.
On the SmallRig Half Camera Cage for OM SYSTEM OM-1, you will find multiple accessory mounting points, while you will still have full access to all ports, controls and the battery compartment. These mounting points include integrated shoe mounts, a NATO rail, multiple 1/4"-20 threads, and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads.
On the base of the SmallRig Half Camera Cage for OM SYSTEM OM-1 you will find an Arca-Type plate built-in which allows for easy mounting to a fluid head or gimbal mount. Under the cage, you will also find a screwdriver stored via a magnet for easy tightening of the cage to the camera and removing the cage.
