This is designed to conform to the camera curves while also providing additional support for the little finger. Your camera attaches securely to the bottom of the plate using a 1/4"-20 screw and features rubber padding at the bottom to prevent twisting and scratches to the camera body.
The SmallRig L-Shape Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 1 II and Alpha 9 III features a 1/4"-20 thread at the top allowing for attachment of a compatible accessory, such as a magic arm. Additionally, this mount plate features a retractable design, allowing for ample space for unobstructed cable connections.
