The Story
The SmallRig Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Baseplate with Dual 15mm LWS Rod Clamp allows you to add a baseplate to your camera that features a Manfrotto-Style quick-release plate, 15mm LWS rod support, and an ARRI-style dovetail mount.
The baseplate features a Manfrotto-style quick-release plate with rubber padding on the top plate preventing twisting and scratching. The base of the SmallRig Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Baseplate with Dual 15mm LWS Rod Clamp features an ARRI-standard dovetail allowing you to mount to a variety of tripods and rigs. You will also find several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads to attach additional accessories such as quick-release plates and dovetails.
Included is a detachable riser pad riser and the top quick-release mount, this is to ensure the mounted lens is at the correct height for a lens support when mounted to 15mm rods.
