The included baseplate mounts to a separately available (not included) dovetail while the two 15mm rod clamps can either be used separately, or together mounted to the baseplate.
The SmallRig Mounting Plate with Dual 15mm Rod Clamps comes with a nonslip top rubberised surface. On the plate, you will find multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, and thumb lever locks can be found on the 15mm rod clamps.
