At the base of the SmallRig Universal Camera Baseplate with 15mm LWS Rod Clamp you will find multiple mounting holes on the base for mounting on a variety of plates and rigs. You will also find dual 15mm LWS rod supports along with numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screws.
You will also find rubber padding on the base preventing the mounted item from twisting or causing unnecessary damage. The SmallRig Universal Camera Baseplate with 15mm LWS Rod Clamp places the camera on the optimal height of 8.3cm when used with the Camera Cage for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro 3270.
The 15mm LWS rod clamps fasten using separate thumbscrews on either side (rods available separately). Then rods are used, and you can mount additional accessories such as lens support, a matte box, or follow focus motors.
