The Story
The Zhiyun SMOOTH-Q5 Ultra Smartphone Stabiliser Combo Kit has been overhauled for durability, smoother movement, fast mode-switching, and AI remote control. Some features that have been kept from the predecessor include the built-in selfie stick, fast mode switching, and gesture control. Adding voice control and a detachable remote controller, and adding an AI tracking module.
The AI tracking module that simply clips onto the smartphone clamp of the Zhiyun SMOOTH-Q5 Ultra allows for long-range, hands-free solo recording and precise target recognition and tracking capabilities.
The detachable remote controller includes all the controls found on the gimbal handle, but allows for control from up to meters away. There is a built-in battery in the handle that can provide power for up to 13.5 hours and up to 5.5 hours with the built-in fill light on. The battery is recharged using a single USB-C input that can charge the battery in about 2 hours.
