The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is a compact Cine camera with a large 4/3 sensor and active MFT mount. The Pocket Cinema 4K can record Ultra HD or 4K DCI video at frame rates of up to 60fps in 10-bit ProRes, or 12-bit RAW internally to SD/CFast cards or an external USB-C drive.
The camera is powered by standard LP-E6 or LP-E6N (LP-E6 included with camera) batteries and can be charged via USB-C or a locking DC power connector that prevents accidental unplugging.
The large sensor in the camera features a native resolution of 4096 x 2160, 13 stops of dynamic range, and a dual native ISO of up to ISO 25600 for delivering great low light performance.
The back of the camera features a bright 5" 1920 x 1080 pixel LCD touchscreen with on screen histogram and focus peaking overlays to easily monitor exposure, focus, and composition; as well as playback recorded footage.
Other great features include: carbon fiber polycarbonate composite body; multi function grip; full size HDMI output; mini XLR input with phantom power; 120fps HD recording; iris, autofocus and zoom on supported lenses; 4th generation Blackmagic color science; remote camera control via Bluetooth; and a full license for DaVinci Resolve Studio.
