The weather resistant exterior features a durable aluminium body with a IP65 waterproof rating, interior fan, even a built-in wiper for the lens.
The Canon CR-X300 sports many features of a Canon camcorder such as a 1/2.3" dual-pixel CMOS sensor, Hybrid AF, the Canon DIG!C DV6 image processor, scene modes, IR (infrared) mode, 20x optical zoom, 20x digital zoom, built-in waterproof microphone, and video capture and output up to UHD 4K. The camera also includes NDI|HX support without requiring a separate license, allowing you to drop the camera into your existing NDI network with minimal configuration.
This camera can be controlled via IP and RS-422 serial as well as HDMI, 6G-SDI, and IP streaming outputs, it is also compatible with the Canon RC-IP100 Touchscreen PTZ Joystick Controller. With these you are able to perform smooth pan, tilt, and zoom functions with a range of 0.3 to 60° per second from a remote location. The camera can also be powered using PoE++ (Power-over-Ethernet) using its LAN port, so it can fit right into your existing PoE+ network without requiring the use of local power to save cabling.
