With a consistent f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range, a beautiful bokeh and notable performance when working in low light conditions is achieved. Driven by a leadscrew-type STM motor, this lens offers fast, quiet and precise autofocus performance throughout the zoom range. When working in handheld orientation the Canon RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STM Lens employs a built-in image stabilisation system that creates notably sharper imagery.
The Canon RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STM Lens construction includes four Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) elements and two aspherical elements to assist in reducing chromatic aberrations and contribute to the compact form factor of the lens. It also offers weather-resistance similar to L-Series lenses.
