The Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens employs two spherical elements creating aberration-free imagery. Furthermore, Spectra Coating assists in further helping to reduce ghosting and flaring.
You will be able to make use of a customizable control ring for either manual focus, or a programmable setting.
Due to the lead Screw-Type, STM (Stepping Motor) autofocus will be smooth and quiet, this is ideal for still as well as video applications.
An Optical Image Stabilizer will help ensure sharp imagery, providing up to 4 stops of shake correction or up to 6 stops of Coordinated IS with a compatible camera body.
