The Fujifilm XF 8-16 features a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 to produce exceptionally bright high-quality images from edge-to-edge and is equivalent to 12-24 in the 35mm format.
The lens construction features a variety of advanced functions and specs such as the four aspherical lens elements to control distortion and spherical aberration, and six ED lens elements including the three super ED elements in order to control lateral chromatic aberration, silent and fast autofocus, rounded 9-blade diaphragm and a correction element that automatically adjusts according to the position of the zoom in order to achieve edge-to-edge sharpness throughout its zoom range.
