The Leica SL 3S Mirrorless Full-Frame Camera features a new BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with 24-megapixel native resolution. You also have 48- and 96-megapixel multi-shot modes along with a newly developed autofocus system. The best of three focus technologies are combined to produce the latest generation in phase-detection AF (PDAF), depth map (object detection AF) and contrast-detection AF. This enables continuous shooting at up to 30 fps with autofocus fully supported. This makes the Leica SL3-S Mirrorless Full-Frame Camera the fastest ever in the Leica lineup.

The Leica SL3S Mirrorless Full-Frame Camera is also the first camera in the SL Lineup with content credentials technology in accordance with the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) for photos. With the mode activated, each image is signed with tamper-proof metadata like camera model and author information, as well as creation and editing data.

Video is recorded at resolutions of up to 6K and offers 3:2 open-gate recording. Recording to external display recorders is possible at HDMI-RAW in 5.9K at 30fps. ProRes 4:2:2 HQ in 5.8K at 30 fps or C4K at 60 fps can be recorded without any recording time limits thanks to the CFexpress type B interface.

The Leica SL3-S Mirrorless Full-Frame Camera also offers image stabilisation of up to 5 stops that further expands the range of applications for M-lenses. For more intuitive handling, the handle button layout and overall camera design have been improved for even more intuitive handling. The menu design also makes navigation easy through the camera menu. You will also find freely assignable FN buttons and optimised touch integration throughout the camera for intuitive and convenient operation.

The EyeRes viewfinder is equipped with a painstakingly produced optical system of glass lenses. A crystal clear image with up to 120 images per second and a resolution of 5.76 million pixels. Another new feature built into the Leica SL3-S Mirrorless Full-Frame Camera is a 3.2" high-resolution touchscreen with a high-quality tilting mechanism, this makes it easy to take photos and video from different angles.
