Exceptional fast and accurate focusing capabilities are achieved by two high-speed, ultra-quiet stepping motors moving in sync with each other which is a first for non-S-Line Z Lenses.
The Nikon Z 28mm f/2.8 Lens is an outstanding option for video applications as well as it greatly suppresses focus breathing preventing the angle of view shifts during recording. A natural shift in brightness can be achieved by making smooth adjustments to the iris ring. Furthermore, the dual stepping motors work in near silence to preserve audio integrity.
