The Story

The Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG Art Lens (L-Mount) is designed to be used with camera bodies featuring the full-frame L-Mount lens mount. With this 135mm, it is easy for you to highlight your subject against an extremely large natural bokeh for stunning bokeh and lifestyle shots.

The optical design of the Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG Art Lens combines two aspherical elements and four F Low Dispersion (FLD) elements to ensure clarity from wide open at f/1.4 through the rest of the aperture range. 17 elements in 13 groups, along with a 13-blade rounded diaphragm to create a beautiful circular bokeh. A Super Multi-Layer Coating is used to optimise backlight resistance, minimising potential lens flare and ghosting.

The Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG Art Lens is powered by Sigma's dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) focusing system for fast, quiet and precise autofocusing without sacrificing portability. The Sigma 135mm is no longer for photography alone, with lens elements arranged to reduce focus breathing, making it ideal for professional videography as well.

On the front lens element, Sigma has applied a water- and oil-repellent coating enabling use in harsh outdoor environments. Further, the lens coatings, the construction ensure that internal elements are protected.
