A high precision magnetic sensor, as well as a AF actuator, is built into the lens to provide an enhanced and reworked autofocus system that offers speed and precision in any situation.
The zoom ring now offers various levels of resistance throughout the zoom range that includes Lock, Tight, and Smooth.
Key features to this amazing telephoto zoom lens include a custom switch for OS settings and a focus limiter switch as well as 3 AFL customizable buttons, a splash resistant coating to protect the lens when working in inclement conditions, a special coating to the movable outer parts from dust and water entering the inner parts of the lens.
