Further, the powerful image stabilisation compensates for up to 6 stops of stabilisation at the 16mm end and up to 4.5 stops at the further ends.
A series of low-dispersion glass elements and four aspherical elements are built into the Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Lens (L-Mount). This renders impressive aberration correction, high sharpness, clarity, and accurate colour rendering throughout the zoom and focus ranges.
Front elements feature a water- and oil-repellent coating to make it easy to clean and maintain. Dust- and splash-resistant seals are added to the lens body for reliability in inclement weather conditions.
