The Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Lens (L-Mount) offers a combination of speed, reach, and optical quality of a super-telephoto zoom lens with the versatility of a super telephoto zoom lens. Designed for camera bodies with the full-frame L-Mount Mount.
The Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Lens spans a wide focal range from 300mm to 600mm and a consistent 4/f maximum aperture that keeps weight manageable while still offering good depth-of-field control and shooting in challenging lighting conditions. Internal zoom and focus maintain the lens length during operation and reduce the centre of gravity fluctuations for a stable monopod or tripod use.
A series of low dispersion and high refractive index glass elements ensure high clarity, sharpness, and colour accuracy throughout the zoom and focusing ranges. Chromatic aberrations are well-controlled and a front Nano Porous Coating (NPC) reduces flaring and ghosting for high contrast.
The Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Lens (L-Mount) features a high-thrust HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) providing accurate and quick movement of the focusing group to easily track fast-moving subjects.
Built for harsh environments, the Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Lens features a magnesium alloy barrel that offers durability without excessive weight with dust and splash-resistant seals for when working in inclement weather conditions. The front element features a water- and oil-repellant coating that is especially easy to clean and thermal insulation paint prevents overheating in extreme temperatures.
To further enhance the intuitive handling, the Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports Lens features a rotating tripod collar incorporating detents every 90°, and the tripod foot is removable and compatible with Arca-Type clamps. Lens filters can be added via the included 40.5mm drop-in filter holder. You will also find a colour-matched hood.
