Featuring a newly developed 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS Image Sensor, impressive speed performance from the Alpha 9 with up to 60 AF/AE calculations per second and 20 fps blackout-free shooting with AF/AE tracking.
The camera is carefully engineered to deliver striking images, with new levels of performance built-in the innovative compact camera for both stills and video recording. With the outstanding and powerful 1 stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS CMOS Image Sensor, combined with latest generation BIONZ X Image Processor impressive functionality can be delivered such as peak autofocus, with 357-point focal-plane phase detection AF and 425-point contrast-detection AF; high sensitivity to ISO 12800; continuous shooting at up to 20 fps; single burst shooting function at an extreme 90 fps; a high-magnification 24-200 mm zoom lens; real-time tracking; along with real-time Eye AF for both stills and movies and even real-time Aye AF for animals. You can also enjoy UHD 4K video recording, with great video performance with the incorporation of S-Log3 and HLG gamma settings, as well as High Frame Rate shooting that enables you to record at up to 960 fps for really slow-motion playback footage.
The stylish design features a pop-up 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder; a large 3.0 921.6k-dot LCD touchscreen that can be used for a convenient operation; Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity that allows you to share images directly from your camera to your phone or for embedding location information from your device.
