The Swarovski 8x56 SLC Binocular is designed to withstand a lifetime of use in the hardest conditions. For a more comfortable handling position, the Abbe-Koenig prisms allow for thinner optical tubes, and are evenly distributed to make the SLC more centre balanced, making for a more comfortable handling experience. The chassis is made from a lightweight and durable magnesium alloy wrapped in protective slip-resistant rubber armouring.
All optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed, making them waterproof up to 4 meters. Further, this assists in preventing internal fogging in extreme environmental conditions and temperature changes.
